Use of AI Images in Advertising
We may use AI‑generated imagery or stock imagery in some marketing materials (e.g., website banners, blog illustrations, concept visuals). These visuals help explain services and share learning tips. We handle real student photos with extra care.
Student Safety, Privacy & Protection
- No student images in advertising without explicit permission. We do not use identifiable student images in paid ads, brochures, billboards, or promotional banners unless we have prior written consent from the student (and parent/guardian if under 18).
- Social posts require permission. We only publish student photos or videos on our social channels (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, TikTok) with explicit permission and purpose‑limited consent (e.g., celebrating a pass). This authority is given to the Driving Instructor at the time when the Image is taken.
- Usage is purpose‑specific. If you consent to a social post, that consent doesn’t automatically allow us to use the image in ads. We will ask again for advertising use.
- Opt‑out anytime. You can withdraw consent at any time. We will use best endeavours to remove the content from our channels where possible and cease further use.
- Safety by default. We avoid revealing sensitive details (e.g., license numbers, home addresses, school uniforms with identifiable insignia) and can obscure backgrounds, plates, or faces when appropriate.
- Data minimisation. We only keep media we need, for the period we need it, and secure it using reasonable administrative and technical safeguards.
What counts as “AI images” here?
“AI images” include pictures produced or edited using AI tools (e.g., generating a scene, removing backgrounds, or creating illustrative graphics). These are not photographs of real lessons unless a real photo is used with your permission and clearly disclosed as such.
How we get consent
- You give verbal consent to use your image for social posts when taking the photo with your instructor.
- We will describe the context in the post (e.g., Driving Test Pass).
- You can refuse to take a "P" Plate photo.
We never sell student images. We do not sell or exchange your images or personal information to third parties for marketing.
