I highly recommend Narelle for anyone learning to drive. I'm in my 30s and I've put it off for a long time so had a lot of anxiety. Narelle instantly put me at ease, was able to read how I was feeling and knew exactly when I needed to be pushed and when I needed more guidance. She is such a good teacher and is so patient and calm. Her methods for the maneuvers are all amazing, the reverse parallel park one works every time and I'm so glad I won't be afraid of parallel parking! She's kind, funny, generous, and so easy to talk to. I had 14 lessons with her over about 6 months and I'm so grateful for that time. I also recommend booking Coastwide for the Test Day Service, it was instrumental in helping me pass first time. Coastwide takes care of all the bookings for you and it was awesome to do the test in the same car I had learned in. The warm up drive before hand is great to relax any nerves and Narelle took such good care of me on the day, I didn't have to worry about anything else other than my driving. Thank you so much Coastwide and Narelle for helping me to finally get my licence!

I took a couple of lessons with Koula to get over the line and pass my P's test. I did the 1hr driving lesson, parking lesson and the test package. Koula was very helpful in ensuring I was up to speed with what I needed to know for general road safety, improving manoeuvres and letting me know what needs improving. Taking these lessons and practicing in between helped me ace the test first try!

Unfailingly calm, constructive and endlessly forbearing, he has the patience to answer constant questions and remains unflappable when faced by the learner’s repeated errors and moments of dismay. His highly effective pedagogical method trains the learner to scan actively for potential problems and react appropriately in time where necessary. He has a deep knowledge of Brisbane and the wider region’s roads and potential problem areas which he imparts with generosity. Beyond his exceptional technical and human skills as an instructor, he is an interesting person with a delightfully dry sense of humour with whom it is a true joy to ride while learning to drive. I would highly recommend him to learners of all ages and learning styles. Despite being a preoccupied older learner, I managed to pass my P plates on the first try after a month of intensive lessons. I could not have done it without his guidance, kindness and humour.

I was shown perfect technique with an amazing rundown, Shane teaches amazing techniques around parking which made me extremely confident before heading into my test. I can’t thank Peter enough for his help over the past few months! I’m an older student who hadn’t driven for over a decade before my first lesson (even longer since I’d driven a manual) and he was always extremely patient and the habits/techniques he taught me I know I’ll hang onto. He knew exactly when I needed a bit of extra help and when I was capable of something and he could step back. He made me feel very comfortable and I genuinely enjoyed my lessons with him - I passed the practical test on my first go and don’t think I would have without Peter’s help. Thanks to everyone at Coastwide. Patrick was my son’s instructor and he was amazing! He was very helpful, patient and friendly. My son always finished a lesson with Patrick feeling confident and competent. We’ve had a great experience with everyone at Coastwide and would not hesitate in recommending them.
