My daughter logged over 100 hours in her Mazda 2 but failed the initial driving test. Patrick at Coastwide had a newer Mazda 2 and was kind enough to teach a bit further south. The 3 lessons and test package was ideal and Patrick the ideal instructor. He smoothed out the rough edges and my daughter passed. I noticed at Coastwide there is a team effort. Joshua has an excellent telephone manner and Glen also turned up on test day for good luck. I would highly recommend instead of using your own car to book the 3 lesson/test package from Coastwide. Your chances of passing the first time will be better.

Patrick was very patient, supportive, and encouraging during the lesson - and made sure to teach me everything I needed to know for my test in the limited time we had. He helped me with my manoeuvre techniques, and provided very detailed guidance that I could have only learnt through his extensive experience! I was recommended to Coastwide Driving School by a friend, and he strongly suggested booking in a practice test before I went for my official test. Best decision ever! I felt a lot more confident after my lesson with Patrick, and was able to ask many questions during the practice test too - to ensure I was fully prepared. Please do pass this feedback on to Patrick, as I am very grateful and appreciative. Fast forward 2 days, I just completed my official drivers test in Wynnum and passed! I was able to succeed with no minor errors either, the examiner said it was a perfect drive. This is all thanks to Patrick's tips and tricks. Nicola was an amazing instructor. Olive felt comfortable with Nicola's kind and supportive approach which was really important to us. 10 lessons early on certainly made it easy for me as her supervisor as Nicola had done all the hard work and taught Olive the right way to drive. Ben

I went for my P test today and I passed. A very big thank you to Michelle, who taught me all the road rules and was very patient with me when I had not driven a manual car before. 4 lessons later, and a lot of patience from Michelle, and I passed my test first go this morning, I 100% would recommend Michelle to anyone! She was lovely, and super excited for me when she found out that I had passed! Thanks Michelle - I appreciate everything you did to help me!

I don't know what Michelle is going to do without her best and funniest student now that I have my P's..... Michelle is the most patient person I have ever met. She is also one of the loveliest, she has a great sense of humor and is super supportive and student focused. It took me three years to go for my P's and when I did I got my license on my first attempt. I feel this is largely due to Michelle's teaching ability and attention to detail. If you are after a driving instructor I highly recommend Michelle, she has taken a somewhat nervous learner and turned me into a competent driver with a good combination of caution and confidence. To give Nicola 5 stars would be an understatement. She's the kindest, most patience and calm individual you'll ever meet, with her presence radiating confidence and comfort. She's wonderful to engage in conversation with, and fosters such a nurturing environment to learn in. I don't know where I would be without her.
