Practical road safety, shared with families

Rightway Driving joined Queensland Police, Queensland Fire and Emergency Services and the Grand Motors team for a complimentary community motoring safety evening.

The event gave young drivers and their families a chance to refresh their vehicle-maintenance knowledge, ask questions and learn through demonstrations. Our original report thanked Grand Motors for creating and organising the evening.

What participants explored

  • Changing a tyre and looking under the bonnet.
  • Inspecting the undercarriage and understanding vehicle safety features.
  • Road rules with police and road skills with Rightway Driving.
  • Emergency-service responses at crashes.
  • An airbag demonstration.
