Learn with Coastwide

Planning driving lessons with Coastwide starts with your pickup address, transmission and learning priorities.

Choose your lessons
Work on clutch control, gear choice and smooth starts alongside your observation. Select the manual profile when booking.
Build a repeatable sequence for moving off, changing gear and stopping. Tell Alan if you have only practised in an automatic so manual controls get appropriate attention.
A preparation lesson can reveal whether gear changes are distracting you from observation. Use the feedback to target practice before a test.

Practice and feedback
Manual driving involves fitting gear choice into the decisions you are already making. Bring one example that feels difficult, such as moving away smoothly or selecting a gear before a turn. Alan can assess the sequence with you and identify what to practise between lessons.
Coastwide instructors serving Bannockburn are Queensland-accredited. Our instructor-provided lesson cars have dual controls. We are part of a group that has helped students pass their test since 1959.
Plan your lesson
View current lesson and package prices. Most Coastwide lessons run for 60 to 90 minutes; check the duration on the product you choose.
Match the profile to the transmission you want, then look at actual availability. Share any nerves or learning priorities before the lesson so your instructor can plan with you.
Agree your pickup
Confirm your Bannockburn home or work address with Alan. If you want to start after school elsewhere, include that campus address instead of assuming the home-suburb booking covers it.
Windaroo Valley State High School is listed at 240 Beaudesert Beenleigh Road, Bahrs Scrub. A pickup there is a separate arrangement to discuss if you attend the school.
Ask Alan to approve both locations and your class finish time. Windaroo Valley State High School is at 240 Beaudesert Beenleigh Road, Bahrs Scrub, so give that address explicitly when arranging the start.
Check the current Bethania listing at Shop 10, 13-15 Glasson Drive, Bethania. It offers practical light-vehicle tests. Confirm Alan's test-car arrangements before making a government booking; do not rely on an old Beenleigh Marketplace address.
The standard Test Day Package is for existing customers who have completed at least one Coastwide lesson. Some instructors accept new test customers by arrangement. Confirm the instructor, centre and time before reserving your government test.
