Sue Ottaway teaches automatic for this area. Automatic tuition covers steering, braking, observation and road decisions without clutch and gear changes.
Peter Deane offers manual tuition. Work on clutch control and gear selection alongside the observation and judgement needed in traffic.
Pre-test lessons and mock tests provide practice and specific feedback on observation, parking, manoeuvres and driving decisions. No test route or pass is guaranteed.

Practice and feedback
Automatic and manual driving lessons in Brightwater work on observation as well as operating the car. A manual learner adds clutch and gear coordination; an automatic learner still needs to judge speed, position and gaps. Choose the transmission when booking so the lesson uses the vehicle you intend to learn in.
Coastwide instructors serving Brightwater are Queensland-accredited. Our instructor-provided lesson cars have dual controls. We are part of a group that has helped students pass their test since 1959.
