Choose your lessons
Practise steering, observation and speed control without coordinating a clutch. Choose an automatic instructor from the local profiles.
Work on clutch control, gear choice and smooth starts alongside your observation. Select the manual profile when booking.
Talk through any habits you want checked, then use a preparation session to see how reliably you apply them while driving.

Practice and feedback
If you have practised a manoeuvre many times without improving it, describe exactly where it goes wrong. James can check your setup, observations and corrections rather than asking you simply to try again. The aim is feedback you can repeat during supervised practice.

Plan your lesson
View current lesson and package prices. Most Coastwide lessons run for 60 to 90 minutes; check the duration on the product you choose.
Match the profile to the transmission you want, then look at actual availability. Share any nerves or learning priorities before the lesson so your instructor can plan with you.
Agree your pickup
Send James the street number, road and any directions needed to identify your Lake Clarendon entrance. Mention a different return address at the same time.
If you work at Lake Clarendon State School, the listed address is 35 Lake Clarendon Road, Lake Clarendon. Confirm a specific meeting location before using the school as your lesson start.
Explain the part you want checked when arranging the session with James. A focused lesson can assess your setup, observations and control, then identify what to practise next. Confirm the pickup address and transmission at the same time.
Toowoomba Harristown lists practical car tests at Corner Yaldwyn Street and Warwick Street, Toowoomba. Ask Coastwide to confirm instructor and test-car availability for your chosen centre before booking with TMR.
