Choose your lessons
Practise steering, observation and speed control without coordinating a clutch. Choose an automatic instructor from the local profiles.
Set one manageable goal for the session. Your instructor can assess it with you and explain what to practise next.
A focused review can check your observations and car control together. Agree what to practise before arranging test-day support.

Practice and feedback
If you want to improve smoothness, describe the point where the car feels unsettled: starting, braking or steering through a manoeuvre. An automatic lesson can review that control alongside the observations needed before acting. Set a specific focus so later practice has a clear purpose.
Coastwide instructors serving Salisbury East are Queensland-accredited. Our instructor-provided lesson cars have dual controls. We are part of a group that has helped students pass their test since 1959.
Plan your lesson
View current lesson and package prices. Most Coastwide lessons run for 60 to 90 minutes; check the duration on the product you choose.
Match the profile to the transmission you want, then look at actual availability. Share any nerves or learning priorities before the lesson so your instructor can plan with you.
Agree your pickup
Give Patrick or Shane the street number, road and suburb used in your current address. Add Salisbury East if it helps describe the area, and confirm the finish location before booking.
If your work pickup is at Salisbury State School, the directory lists 19 Cripps Street, Salisbury. Confirm the exact place to meet Patrick or Shane before booking.
Ask Patrick or Shane to confirm both addresses and the time you are ready. Include the street number, road and current address suburb for each place so the instructor can check the complete arrangement before you book.
Sherwood lists practical car tests at 14 Primrose Street, Sherwood. Ask Coastwide to confirm instructor and test-car availability for your chosen centre before booking with TMR.
The standard Test Day Package is for existing customers who have completed at least one Coastwide lesson. Some instructors accept new test customers by arrangement. Confirm the instructor, centre and time before reserving your government test.
