Practice and feedback
What to practise during a lesson in St Lucia
A St Lucia lesson can make a useful distinction between knowing a rule and applying it while driving. Your instructor can observe a practical task, discuss your decision and help you practise noticing the relevant information earlier.
Coastwide instructors are Queensland-accredited. Our instructor-provided lesson cars have dual controls. We are part of a group that has helped students pass their test since 1959.

St Lucia driving lesson questions
Can I suggest Toowong Library as the start of a St Lucia lesson?
You can discuss that alternative with Shane. Give the Toowong Village address and agree an external vehicle meeting point; the indoor library location alone is not a complete pickup arrangement.
What do mock tests in St Lucia help me work on?
Mock-test feedback can show recurring gaps in observation, parking, manoeuvres or decisions. Use it to plan further practice before the practical test. It does not predict the examiner's route or guarantee a pass.
What should I explain when arranging refresher lessons in St Lucia?
Say how long it has been since you drove and which tasks you want to revisit. A refresher can focus on skills such as parking, observation or car control, with feedback on your practice.
Which test-centre details should I check when preparing in St Lucia?
TMR lists Sherwood at 14 Primrose Street, Sherwood; practical car testing is offered. Check the location on your own test confirmation and discuss the arrangements with your instructor.
Can I arrange a Coastwide car for my driving test from St Lucia?
The Test Day Package requires at least one prior Coastwide lesson for existing customers. Some instructors also accept new test customers. Call to coordinate the instructor, test centre and time before booking the government test.
