Helping nervous and neurodivergent learners build confidence.

Hi, I’m Rachael

Learning to drive can be exciting, but it can also feel really overwhelming. Whether you’re nervous, excited, lacking confidence, or simply need a little more time, I’m here to help.

I believe there’s no one-size-fits-all approach to learning. Everyone learns differently, so I take the time to understand what works for you and create a calm, supportive environment where you can learn at your own pace without judgement.

With a background in training and education, I’ve always loved helping people learn, build confidence and realise they’re capable of more than they thought.

I have a particular interest in supporting nervous, anxious and neurodivergent learners, while welcoming students of all ages, abilities and experience levels. As someone diagnosed with ADHD as an adult, I understand that sometimes you need things explained differently, a little extra time to process information, or simply a safe space to ask questions without feeling silly.

We’ll start where you’re comfortable and build from there. Your first lesson might simply be about getting comfortable in the car and understanding how everything works. From there, we’ll gradually build your skills, confidence and independence.

And mistakes? They’re completely okay! They’re part of learning. My job is to help you understand what happened, work through it and have another go, without making you feel defeated.

I teach in my Hybrid Haval Jolion, providing a comfortable and modern learning environment

Whether your goal is to pass your driving test, overcome your nerves, or simply feel confident driving independently, we’ll work towards it together.

For me, passing the test is only part of the journey. I want you to finish your lessons feeling safe, capable and genuinely confident behind the wheel, not just confident enough to pass a test.

When I’m not teaching, I’m usually busy being mum to my two small kids. I’m also a huge Disney Parks fan. Probably a little more obsessed than I should admit! I’ve visited Disney Parks around the world (some more than once!) with Shanghai being last on the bucket list.

I love to travel, being creative and finding the fun in the little things, and I think that probably sums up my approach to teaching too.

So, whatever your circumstances, and wherever you’re starting from, you’re welcome here. We’ll take it one step at a time, celebrate the wins (even the little ones!) and work through the tricky bits together.

I can’t wait to meet you and help you become a confident, safe and independent driver.
