Sue is AMAZING, she makes driving stress free and so much easier, she teaches you the easy way and safe way to do everything, i was 2 weeks from my test and garenteed i was gonna fail but 2 lessons with her gave me so much more confidence. she’s lovely to have a conversation and a laugh with as well, i would recommend her 100%.

I had Sue for all of my lessons and I couldn’t have chosen a better instructor to improve my driving with. Not only did she make me feel comfortable, she taught me all of the important manoeuvres and tricks that are beneficial for when you when driving on the roads. She always kept it lighthearted and stress free, which helped ease my nerves a lot as I’m sure a lot of other people including myself over think a lot which can affect your driving even when you’re fully capable. I can’t stress enough how much I could not have succeeded with my license without Sue. I would recommend her to absolutely anyone, especially if you’re a bit uneasy or nervous about being on the roads. 5 stars from me!

Sue was an amazing driving instructor! I started lessons with Sue after I had completed all of my logbook hours, as I was just seeking to consolidate my driving and confidence. In this way, Sue helped me to eliminate any bad habits and built up my faith in myself. I couldn’t have been better prepared for my P’s test and passed first try all thanks to Sue!

I made the best decision of having lessons at Coastwide. Sue was very encouraging and has so many helpful safe driving tips. I had been driving overseas for several years but I still learned a lot from her. She was very patient and calm. Her supportive and positive nature reassured me that I will be fine during the test. I highly recommend Sue for lessons and test assistance.

What a lovely experience it has been having the amazing Sue guide our daughter to become the best driver she could be. Sue’s calm, bright, funny, caring nature saw our daughter go from being a nervous hesitant driver to a confident competent independent one. Sue’s thorough knowledge of our roads and little tricks and tips for manoeuvring the vehicle have been invaluable. We are so glad we chose Sue and Coast Wide Driving School. It was the best decision made when helping our daughter to drive. Booking was super easy, and cost for service received well worth it (definitely recommend taking advantage of the packages)

Sue on the Sunny Coast was a warm, patient and thorough instructor who focussed more on teaching the foundational skills of safe driving rather than simply focusing on passing a driving test. Recommend highly!

Sue is a fantastic driving instructor who is very patient and friendly. I've learnt lots of little tips and tricks that are very helpful in day to day driving, and really value Sue's focus on defensive driving which helps me be a more confident driver.

I had my very first driving lesson (at the age of 24!) with Sue and found her to be very helpful, kind and reassuring! As someone who harbored a lot of anxiety when it came to driving, Sue had the perfect gentle and friendly personality to help me feel at ease. Overall I had a great experience, feel much more confident about driving (even after just one lesson) and look forward to my next lessons!

Driving for the first time can obviously be a very daunting prospect for many new drivers, myself included. But my driving instructor (Sue Ottaway) was a strong enforcer of the idea of 'calm in the car,' which made my first experiences in a car much easier and less nerve-wracking. The positive reinforcement helped me to gain confidence on the road, and there was a very obvious change (for the better) in my driving before I started lessons and after even my first one.

Coastwide has been a fantastic school to learn with, their telephone and internet service is great for booking and managing your lessons. I would really like to recommend Sue as an instructor, I passed today in Caloundra on my first attempt with her help, advice and encouragement. Moving from Scotland and learning in a new country was really daunting but she made it simple and enjoyable!

I really enjoyed my driving lessons, i had Ben and Sue, they were very helpful and got me to correct my driving when needed. They both encouraged me and helped me do well and pass, i couldn't have done it with out them.
