Develop smoother decisions in your McDowall lesson
Good car control gives you time to observe. In a McDowall lesson, you can practise planning a turn early: looking ahead, checking the traffic and bringing the car to a suitable speed before changing direction. Your instructor can explain the order of the checks and help you try the task without rushing.
If you are already driving with a supervisor, bring an example of a decision you found difficult. Work through what you saw and what other information mattered, then practise applying that explanation. The useful measure is whether you can make a safe decision more consistently.
Coastwide uses Queensland-accredited instructors and dual-control lesson cars. We are part of a group that has helped students pass their test since 1959.
